Delete your account and data

You can delete your NibbleIQ account yourself, from inside the app, without asking us and without waiting. Deletion is immediate and complete.

Delete your whole account

1. Open NibbleIQ and sign in.
2. Tap your profile picture, top right of any screen.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm when asked. Your account and every row of your data are removed at that moment.

If you cannot reach the app — you have changed phones, or you deleted the app before deleting the account — email ask@aryabhattalabs.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We respond within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

Delete some of your data, and keep your account

Anything the app recorded can be removed on its own, without deleting your account: tap a meal, a drink, a body measurement or a check-in and delete it there. Removing an entry removes it from your history and from every summary computed over it.

What is deleted

Deleting your account removes all of the following, permanently:

• Your account and sign-in details — email address, name, profile photo reference, and password if you set one
• Your profile — gender, year of birth, countries, food and cuisine preferences, health conditions, height, weight and activity level
• Every meal and drink you logged, with the text you typed and the nutrition derived from it
• Water, body measurements, and all check-ins — sleep quality, waking feeling, mood, energy, digestion, day quality, symptoms and notes
• Sleep, steps, active energy and resting heart rate read from Apple Health or Health Connect, along with any daily summaries computed from them
• Your notification token, so the app can no longer reach your device

What is kept

• Nothing that identifies you. We keep no shadow copy of a deleted account.
• Encrypted backups are rotated on a rolling schedule, so a copy of a deleted row may persist in backup storage for a short period until the backup holding it is overwritten. Backups are not readable by the app and are never used to restore a deleted account.
• Records we are required to retain for legal or fraud-prevention reasons, where the law requires it. In normal use there are none.

Apple Health and Health Connect

NibbleIQ only ever reads from Apple Health (iPhone) and Health Connect (Android), and never writes to either, so deleting your account does not affect the data held there or by your watch. You can revoke NibbleIQ's access at any time, without deleting your account:

• iPhone — Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → NibbleIQ
• Android — Settings → Health Connect → App permissions
