Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the NibbleIQ mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What NibbleIQ is

NibbleIQ is a personal logging tool. You record what you ate, how you felt, how you slept, how much water you drank and similar signals, and the Service shows you your own data back — including statistical patterns it finds across those signals, always alongside the numbers those patterns are based on.

What NibbleIQ is not

NibbleIQ does not provide medical, nutritional, or health advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a medical device. This is a deliberate design choice, not a disclaimer bolted on afterwards. The Service describes what you recorded and the associations present in it; it does not tell you what to eat, what to avoid, or what to change.

Patterns shown in the app describe co-occurrence, not causation. If the app reports that a symptom appeared on days a certain food was logged, that is a statement about your records — not a finding that one caused the other. Everything else you consumed, did, or experienced on those days is equally present in the data.

Nothing in the Service replaces a qualified professional. Always consult a doctor, dietitian, or other qualified practitioner about your health, and never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you saw in NibbleIQ. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, and you must be able to form a binding contract. The Service is not directed at children.

Your account

You sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure and for activity that happens under it. Tell us at the contact address above if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Deleting your account removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Your data is yours

The food, mood, symptom and body information you enter belongs to you. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the Service for you — storing your entries, processing them to produce your own summaries and patterns, and backing them up. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

You can take it with you at any time: Download my data in the app returns a zip of spreadsheets covering every signal you have logged, in formats any spreadsheet or nutritionist can open.

Accuracy and estimates

Nutrition figures come from published reference sets and a curated food catalog, and are estimates. Portions vary, recipes vary, and text you type has to be interpreted. Where a value has been estimated by AI rather than taken from the catalog, the app labels it as such. Do not rely on these figures for clinical or diagnostic purposes.

Some features use automated systems, including large language models, to read what you typed and to phrase summaries. These systems can make mistakes. You can correct anything the app has recorded about you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harm or impersonate anyone
• attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours
• probe, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure
• reverse engineer the Service except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted
• resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties listed in the Privacy Policy — including sign-in providers, Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect where you grant permission, cloud hosting, analytics, and AI processing. Their own terms apply to their services, and we are not responsible for them.

Availability and changes

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service. If we make a material change to these terms, we will update the effective date above and, where the change significantly affects you, tell you in the app.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aryabhatta Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
